Ok, looks like there is at least four of us interested in this:

I'll start working out details of how to put this together. Until I get my Jornada, if someone could do this and tell me the results (DO NOT POWER ON THE MACHINE WHILE DOING THIS AND YOU WILL LOOSE EVERYTHING IN MEMORY!):

1. Take the keyboard off
2. Remove the daughtercard
3. Place a CF card inside the body of the Jornada where the daughercard was
4. See if the keyboard fits snugly like if you were replacing it.

After doing this, if you could tell me if the CF card has enough room to "rattle around" inside a bit or if the whole contraption puts pressure on the keyboard from underneath, I would appreciate it. This will give me some idea as to how I can lay out the components on the board.

Or, everyone can just wait until I get mine and I can do this ;)
