Hi,

the 54x is a complete different CPU architecture (SH3), so if you want to
have linux running on it you have to start from scratch and can't use any
code from the 56x series (as this is ARM). You also can't use the hh.org
bootloader. You really need to start from nothing.

56x doesn't seem to be SH3, right? And how about the display?
