Done! The CF reader works much better. :-)

Something else I've noticed and it carried between zImage files. My
settings in Opie concerning the turning of of the Jornada don't seem to
affect it. I set it to never turn off when on AC power. This is not
working. When it turns off, I get the following on the terminal:

~ # Stopping tasks: ====================|

Also, I changed the dim and backlight off settings and they didn't seem
to change.

I haven't messed with USB networking yet. Do you know a good guide for
doing that in Linux? I'll need to do some research on it as I didn't
have it setup before. I'm using my serial cradle for now.

I'll get back to you on the effectiveness of the battery changes.
