Hi,
OK, the release is near. The kernel source is now patched to 2.6.6 and if
everything goes well, expect a test release next week. I've already changed
the Opie stuff to get it working on the Jornada. All available light & power
options should now work (except the AC specific settings as I still have no
idea how the AC status is checked on this device :( )
Touchscreen is still suffering some lag, but It's now possible to draw images,
play patience or scroll through pages which is in my opinion a great
improvement since 2.4.
I've found just another tiny bug today: if any panel button (except the power
button) is pressed during suspend, it will stop working (and kill all the
other buttons too) after the resume. So you need to be careful what you do
with your device while it's suspended.
regards,
Alex
