Hi,
this is just for the Jornada 56x and will not work on a 720. If I had a 720 I
would have a look at it if the jornada 56x port is finished, but
unfortunately I don't have one so I can't really try porting 2.6 to it
(although I guess it shouldn't be too hard).
All my stuff for the jornada 56x is in the handhelds.org cvs kernel tree.
Check http://cvs.handhelds.org/cgi-bin/viewcvs.cgi/linux/kernel26 for the
kernel tree.
The Jornada 56x kernel 2.6 port is now very well useable. Some changes need to
be made to Opie as lots of stuff like backlight control etc... have moved
into sysfs. As I've said you can expect a first release near the end of may.
Kernel 2.4 will by then be declared unsupported.
