Hi,

you're just about right although the touchscreen response is sort of bad. I'm
going to get this fixed in kernel 2.6 as the input system is much better
there. Brightness control is just on/off right now. Batteryinfo will be
working with kernel 2.6 (already made some progress there). Sound might work
out of the box with sa1100 audio drivers.
When flashing bootloader with bootblaster usually it works, but I know some
people who turned up with a brick. Debricking can be done with the jtag
interface and jflash software.
Opie is indeed the best for the jornada as it includes device stuff.
