there is no doc :)
you're not familiar with jffs2 - this means that you don't have a flash
board in your jornada. please read the list archives to see what it is.
if you had such a board you would issue the command 'load root' in bootldr
to program the jffs2 image to the flash.

your only option would be to make a modified distribution of GPE on a CF
card (something like Peter's modified familiar 0.5). if you have problems
running the binaries from GPE put this somwhere in the init code (from G
Almasi's 820 patch):
asm volatile ("mov r0, #0; mcr p15, 0, r0, c13, c0,0;");
this should make binaries compiled with low entry points work properly. i
will try to find someone with a jornada 720 with the original rom board,
and check if this patch works.
