I have just uploaded the linux + ramdisk binary corresponding to the
patch from a few days ago.
Use the information FaRe posted two days ago, and look in the
subdirectory linux/george/binaries.
As always, thanks to FaRe for gracefully offering the use of his
bandwidth and disk space!
I tried to post the patch (source code) right here last Saturday, but
the message is still awaiting
moderation because the patch is a bit on the longish side.
In the following days I will upload the patch, and the binaries, for
the kernel + ramdisk that
actually can mount the CF card as a disk and access the network through
a NE2000 compatible
PC card in slot 0 (no, I didn't compile all the other drivers in,
because the kernel tends
to grow too much).
Can ayobody tell me what the process of patch acceptance into the
kernel mainline is?
George
