(I'm re-posting in a new thread, because I'm not sure it actually
went out the last time).
OK. I have one final question and then, with a little luck, I'll have
some good news for folks. I went digging through the archives, which
means I likely just missed the tidbit of info I need; when installing
one of the flashable HP replacement boards, is the flash memory
pre-flashed, or can it be flashed via the serial port?
I'm in the process of pulling together the resources necessary to
manufacture these boards; I've got pretty much everything lined
up (all the necessary parts, and a vendor willing to assemble the
boards from the parts I supply). I need to get a prototype constructed
and then I can start taking orders.
Don't bother posting "I want one!" posts just yet; it *is* coming
together. When all the pieces are in place (read: in a few weeks, when I
have a functioning prototype), I'll post a message with order details.
Suffice it to say that it's looking like the boards are going to shake
out to somewhere between $125 and $150 each.
More news as it becomes available. =)
