Alex Lange has been working diligently on the Jornada 56x series. I don't know
that anyone is currently working on the 6xx types. I think there was some work
put into the 7xx types. My "x"s don't indicate a series so much as a lack of
memory. I'm not sure how close the 660 is to the 567/8 that Alex has been
putting his work to.

I've been trying to keep track of Alex's development at
http://josiah.ritchietribe.net/moniwiki/wiki.php/JornadaLinux for others to
grab. He keeps his docs at http://handhelds.org/~chicken/. There is a kernel
feed there, but he has some more improvements coming down the pipe sometime
soon. Check out my main page above for a breakdown of what currently isn't
working. Many of them have improvements coming.

We did at one time have a guy from HP around here providing input, but he was
pulled elsewhere. I think there might be some documentation on these devices
around somewhere to help the programming types. If there is Alex probably knows
where.
