I'm uploading the jffs2 file to my jornada 567. Alex, you might remember that I
thought I'd bricked mine. I figured, I'd get another serial cable to be sure
that the one I bought wasn't trash before I went and started soldering. I'm glad
I did. 3 months after the beginning of the install I'm finally getting around to
finishing it up. I a little unsure if the file is actually transferring, but I
did get to the boot> prompt and got a response when I typed:
boot> load root
partition root is a jffs2 partition:
expecting .jffs2 or wince_image.gz.
After receiving file, will
automatically uncompress .gz images
loading flash region root
using ymodem
ready for YMODEM transfer...
Should I get a response at this prompt once I start a ymodem transfer? Is there
another area that should give some indication that data is actually being
transferred. It's been almost 10 minutes.
Thanks,
Josiah
