Hello Sebastian,

Would this ROM replacement board work for a Jornada 8xx system? I would be
interested in ordering a replacement that would work on a 8xx board.

That sounds great! I got all components because I worked for a company
that ordered such components. i have got the rams and roms each twice
as samples and ordered 3 samples of the connector myself.
so all i need is the board itself and i can "spend" two of the
connectors. i don't know if i can order the chips but i doubt to get
more samples.
maybe we wait a bit to look how many j720 owners want a DIY-board and
i ask my brother if he wants to solder more than one board or if there
is someone else who can do fine-pitch soldering.
