This sounds good. But I am a little wary of bricking my 568... :-)
I am a non-programmer, but follow the list because of the Linux on the
Jornada angle so what would the benefits be of changing?
What I would like is trying to use my 568 as a standalone computer, not
having to have a desktop to sync with all the time.
What is the speed like, choosing apps, changing apps, typing? Better or
worse, or the same?
What hardware is supported? CF RAM cards I suppose are supported?
Wifi? I have a Linksys WCF12.
IrDA and Bluetooth (one must jump through hoops it seems for BT) look
supported. Would I be able to use GPRS on a Sony Ericsson T68i?
Would an external keyboard work? I expect it's a serial keyboard that I
have, but it requires a driver.
Can one i.e. take out a CF RAM card and put in the Wifi card without
crashing, rebooting or playing with scripts or whatever? Does everything
just work once set up?
Lots of questions from someone not quite knowing what to ask, and not
quite knowing if this is a Good Thing... :-)
