No I didn't apply any patches, I've just compiled it to be used on the j56x.
Flashing should be done with the serial cable, my current bootldr doesn't
have usb support compiled in, just serial support. I've installed the bootldr
using a jtag interface, but I'm trying to get a bootblaster version working.
The touchscreen is in a usable state, but response is somewhat slow.
