Hi John!
The 720 port is working quite well.
Suspend/resume is a bit quirky, and I notice a sizeable power drain
even when suspended, but its much better than before.
Poring through the sound drivers, it appears there is or was some
support for audio input, that was disabled
(possibly because it never worked right?)
Do you remember what the issues were with the audio driver?
Could it simply be a matter of enabling it again at the appropriate points
(at cost of stability/other reasons it was disabled- I haven't had any
luck so far) or is the chipset enough different from the Ipaq
sound, that it would require major rework?
Your kernel efforts haev been very deeply appreciated. I brought
mine to the handheld BOF in a sysadmin conference on campus recently,
and wowed them all :)
It was only afterward, that my inbox was flooded with requests for:
"But is there anything like it that runs WinCE???"
(sigh :/

p.s. On a more practical basis, my J720 has ridden in pockets to *many*
places that a laptop would've been awkward, and get work done that would
otherwise have been impossible.
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
