[jornada] jornada 568 - now what

OK, this is what I have tried on my new jornada 568:

-> Bootblaster: doesnt't work, bricks the unit
-> jtag : works great
-> Bootloader (latest): working but misses 32MB of memory during detection.
-> Kernel 2.4.18 + familiar bootstrap: OK , although I have a feeling
that power management is not doing what it should do.
-> Opie: Touchscreen-taps and keypresses are registered only after
holding them for about a second.
-> gpe: Works much better, only the touchscreen is off- and xcalibrate
only wants to run if there is this this /proc/hal ? I am going to
"investigate" how to get around this, any tips ?

-> Kernel 2.4.19 : Flash is not detected, but I doubt that the 2.4.19
patches have much in store for the jornada 568

Of course, I have not bought my pda to just have it up and running in a
few days - it wouldn't be any fun like that.
So, in order to help the handhelds "jornada 568 status" , where can I
help out? Who is working on what?
Is there actually anybody already productively using a jornada 568
running opie or gpe ? Because I might be missing a lot of things that
have already been done by others.
