Re: [jornada] Linux for 568

OK, the serial port problem was indeed a problem with the hardware/bios.
Both serial ports didn't work at first. Then I prevented the first one
from initializing (disable in pcBios), and moved the second one the io
/irq settings of the first. Now it works.
Thanks for all the helpful comments, John, Jacek.

Let me share some more of my problems here:

As a test I used a familiar taks-bootstrap, and at least I got linux up
and running on the device.
One thing that worries me now is the ram detection : only have 32M
detected by bootldr, while it should give me 64M.
When I add "mem=64M" to the kernel command line i get 64 megs in
/proc/meminfo , of course--- but I assume this is not the sollution?
I guess I will have to dig in to the bootldr code and find out about ram
detection. The bootldr I am using now, is the latest from CVS.

Also , if I use the latest kernel (2.4.19-rmk6-pxa1-hh12) , sa1100_map
for mtd doesn't detect my flash parts??? Anyone ? It works fine with
2.4.18-rmk.
