Dear Jornada users,

I would like to propose that other jornada 820 owners and I would gather
funds to offer a 820 (and maybe tips, too) to a real kernel hacker so that
he would fully port Linux to it -- i.e. not just the CPU & serial device,
but also the rest of the devices, in order of priority:
framebuffer, keyboard, PCMCIA, USB, touchpad, sound, power management, VGA.
Those who are ready to fund such a project, please contact me by email,
and tell me how much you're ready to pay. If any kernel hacker is
interested in being offered a 820, please send me credentials by email,
and tell me how much you demand, above the offered 820. If you know
potential owners and hackers whom I should contact, please tell me, too.

PS: my telecom company reestablished my DSL connection, so my jornada 820
FTP site is back online (and of course the password is still 820):

What a lot of trouble to prove in political economy that two and two make four;
and if you succeed in doing so, people cry, 'It is so clear that it is boring.'
Then they vote as if you had never proved anything at all.
