Regarding pcmcia support.. with what I've seen on hh.org lists, I thought pcmcia on sa1100 machines were only
supported through kernel's pcmcia support + hh patches. I guess your
experience with pcmcia-sourceforge drivers bears this out..

Thank you! I'll get back to messing with the latest kernel version too.
It was late when I posted previously and maybe with more sleep and
smarter grepping I can solve sa1100_request_dma().
