hi!

i'm currently looking forward to get a linux handheld and have picked up
some info to the jornada produkt line. (i want a real keybord and enough
cpu to decode mp3). the jornade seems to fit my needs, but i couldn't
find a clear answer to wether it is possible to install linux on a
jornada 728! for now or in the near future.

if it is possible:

are hardware modifications needed?
will it be possible to support all hardware? (PM, PC-Card, irda, ...)
to what degree, may i provide help (i'm quite experenced about i386
linux & C) to further development? (strange question, i know! ;-) )

in geneal, is it a good idea to get a j728 now (or later), if i want to
run linux exclusivly?

thank you in advance & sorry for bothering you that shamelessly! :>

best regards ...
clemens
