Sorry to take you thread off-topic, but you mentioned that you managed to get
WinCE back on the Jornada after you had put bootldr on it? Any informaiton on
how this was managed? I asked about this several months ago under the
impression that i had remembered doing it several years ago and was told it
wasn't possible with the current bootldr. I've been working up the guts to
put the original (I think it's the original) HP boot loader back on it, but
haven't bothered yet. I did run into one almost promisong archived thread
somewhere, but it linked over to a forum post that no longer exists and that
I haven't managed to find in archive.org.
Nothing against Linux or all of the hard work Alex has put into getting things
working on the 56x series, just found myself not using it in the past couple
years and decided to put WinCE back on it if possible, possibly to give to my
wife as a new-to-her toy.
