I think, this happens only when you have AC connected. This is "normal"
jornada behaviour. As the "suspend" is able to swith the display (and
power of PCMCIA) it should be possible to turn it off.. but don't know
how.

Whan Image are you using? Then one from lowlevel has a loadkeys command in
startup that loads the ABB map. Default kernel keymap is IMHO ABA.
