Rumours of my success are greatly exaggerated.
I only managed to boot into the earliest phases of the linux kernel:
it dies mysteriously some time after enabling the MMU.
Check the archives of the linux-arm-kernel mailing list.
I have not seriously touched the beast since
(well, I mean, I've used the jornada as an enhanced notepad
running Emacs under WinCE, but I haven't done kernel hacking for months).

I had closed my site because some FTP bots were eating all of
my limited bandwidth. Due to popular demand (well, yours :) ),
I have reopened the jornada820 section.

server: samaris.tunes.org

Noone does. But if you hack them into existence,
I sure will be very much interested to have a copy!

Note: you ought to
1) take my blob patch, verify that it actually works on the latest blob CVS
2) merge my skeleton of jornada820 support for the linux kernel into some
more modern linux kernel with rmk patch.

Enjoy!
