I know that there was a HP part number for the ROM module in the 820 that
you could order if you needed one for any reason, I dont suppose it would be
any different. Do we know for a fact that the 728 has a flashrom in it? I
guess it would depend on whether the supporting hardware required to write
the flashrom was also on the module or not. but if not, then someone with a
728 could most likely at least burn them and sell them for read-only use in
a 720.

I'd like to get on whatever list there is for a linux 720 rom, whenever it's
available.

720 i don't s'pose it's possible to use the flash from the 728 in a
