This Thanksgiving I am very thankful to own a Jornada 728 with a linux

How do I power on and off the machine? Right now, after a search of
this mailing list, I have removed the button battery and issue the
"reboot" command and then remove the main battery. This isn't very good!

The screen saver "whites" out the screen but does not turn off
the back light. Quite the opposite of a screensaver.
Also, how do I add 802.11b support? I have a Socket/Symbol Low Power
CF card and plan on getting a Low Power 10 or 10/100 CF card. I am
using these cards plugged into a PCMCIA CF adapter card. Has anyone
gotten this working yet?
How do I mkfs a file system of a cf card?
