[jornada] Jornada 728 running Linux, any news?

I am pondering the wisdom of buying a Jornada 728 to run Linux.
I like the larger screen and keyboard, but the quietness of this
mailing list (and that is more a commiseration than a complaint) makes
me nervous.

The last I read, there was some debate about whether the Jornada 728
had Flash or masked roms. Has this question been resolved?
