I am not sure if I will have a camera, but if I come across
photos, I will let you know.

HP (corporate) is a keystone sponsor of this Linuxworld
and we (HP) have 2 large booths. HP Labs is giving a
few presentations in one of the booths.

I am not sure if HP has decided a formal strategy on
handhelds, but the Labs effort focused around handhelds.org
is still going quite strong. Our Cambridge sister lab (CRL) has
done a great job working with the open source community
and moving the whole project ahead.

I will be continuing to develop/support the 720 and 56x models
as they are quite different from any of the iPaq series and
used in different applications. One frustration on the 720 has
been the difficulty of finding an easy, long-term source of the
replacement flash cards (and my lack of interested in
building things under Wince!).

I think that the variety and quality of the iPaq series exceeds
much of what was in the X25 and has quite vigorous growth
(due in large part to the active participation of outside developers
and the large, sustained effort at CRL.)
