hpcboot (from NetBSD) can load the NetBSD kernel from CF
(actually, loading it into memory first, then chaining into it).
I had it chain into blob to boot the kernel on the 820.
[However, my 820 kernel ceases to give any useful output
the moment it attempts to enable the MMU]
So yes, it's doable. I can't tell whether or not cyace is
a better start than hpcboot+blob.
PS: if anyone has experience debugging this kind of kernel problem,
his help will be most welcome...
