The 568 does indeed have a flash-rom. Linux has been
(slowly!) coming to life on this platform and we are getting
ready for an "alpha" distribution. The main thing remaining
at this point is to merge the Jornada support into the
Ipaq bootldr so that one Wince program can be used
to install either type of device.
Since the Flash is so small, I doubt that there is any
real possibility of doing dual boot (you probably would
not have enough space to comfortably run either Wince
or Linux).
I am not familiar with anyone who has made much progress
on a port to the 680. It has been quite difficult getting
any sort of information about this device from the
hardware development team and without this data
it is quite difficult to make progress.
Thanks
