Ok, I've been able to "recover" it. I installed a GPE 7.2 specific to the
Jornada. Now, the screen calibration is hard but I can get past it, typing
the passwor is completly impossible :( I'm downloading OPIE now.... sad, I
believed I would like GPE more because it remembered me about GNOME.

Can you guys tell me what could that GPE 7.2 build have different so that
the GPE 8.x doesn't work? Kernel config maybe?

Can you point me to some development details so I can hack a bit? Is there
any emulator I can use on Windows or Linux so I don't risk to destroy my
Jornada that much?
