There is also an Opie image which has some of your troubles fixed

At least I think I fixed them there.
There will be no image of anything newer than 0.8.2 as the newer version
require 2.6 kernel, which is not fully working (at least the one in hh
tree) with jornada.

Kernel does not mather as long as you copy into image appropriate modules.
