I kinda like your idea of only putting enough flash for booting off of a CF card in the J72x's CF slot. I'll have to do a survey of the flash manufacturers to see if there is a chip that has both an I2C interface as well as a regular data interface. If I can find (or someone point me to) one that is small enough, a bluetooth chip or a USB chip may fit along with the RAM.
USER POLL: If it comes down to USB OR Bluetooth, but not both, which one would be more useful? My vote is still USB, but that's because I never got into the bluetooth craze....
