[jornada] Linux 2.6 / Debian Sarge on Jornada 720

All,

Was wondering if any of you are running Linux 2.6 on the Jornada 720? If so,
would it be possible to get a pre-built kernel/module set posted somewhere?
And, could it likely be used in conjunction with Matthis Rouch's Debian Sarge
base system image? I'm not too familiar with Linux and how kernel upgrades
versus the base system work (FreeBSD user, we bundle the kernel/base system
together).

Asking this because I've been getting frequent crashes requiring a system
reset about 25% of the time the sound device is used. I'm hoping that a newer
kernel/set of modules might fix this problem.
