RE: [jornada] rescue/fs tools initrd

I use an old notebook and a Knoppix CD to format my CF card, and do the
rest.

This was a simple solution to get around not having Linux usable CF reader
in the desktop and no Linux environment installed.

Hi all,
I wondered if there was any rescue-initrd for the jornada so that one
could partition or make filesystems on CF from it. This is
particularly of concern for me now as I have no linux env on desktop
and therefore cannot format CF there.
I would have gladly made such an initrd but cannot install linux for
now due to new unsupported hardware ... anyway do you think its a
good idea?
