RE: [jornada] USB Charge Cables

Actually we have special machines at work that do 12V and 24V USB, but
not as common as 5V.

As my USB external 2.5" drive comes with a splitter cable, for this
reason (if your drive uses your more than 5V) I might see if 10V is
enough, easy to track the pin outs to the 720 power connector.

Having to carry the cradle would be too much of a pain than just the
power pack.

There is an .AU eBay auction going at present with 2 extended life
batteries, larger than the normal ones.

If I could suspend, even for 10 seconds, I could have used any of my 3
batteries.

BTW, can someone compile a driver for me? 54K in size, this would give
me a 1Mbit wireless connection city wide and interstate.

I need to get another h/drive for my notebook to install everything
rather than running Knoppix diskless, as the home system does not see
the USB card reader under VMware.

Regards,
Tom

This is not possible.

1. mentioned here - jornadas' DC input is 12V, even though battery is
7.2V
2. there is NO connection between USB and 12V source pin in cradle - USB

connector is only on the cradle. Is that better to carry cradle instead
source adapter?
