i've posted a patch to fix this in the 2.6 kernel on my jornada (with
country code ABB) some time ago, see

if i remember correctly i've also mapped the buttons to control volume
that are on the front.

citing my original mail - does anyone know how many country codes there
are (or how many keyboard types there are)?
