I had really bad times before finding "/" is on altgr.:)

Marek Coufal sent me a map that could be loaded on bootup (debian 3.1)
with corrected keymap (I did not test it yet.).

I tried now, and seems same for me. ZCOM XI325 with prism 2.5, orinoco
(I prefere hostap, but did not compiled it yet)
module is loaded, card is powered but does not transmit. NE2000 works
fine.
BTW: I also noticed power consumption when jornada is running seems to be
higer than with 2.4. Could it be related to kernel ticks?
