[jornada] apm/suspend

As most critical for useable Jornada I see absence of good apm/suspend.
As of now, linux is running fine, but battery gets empty within 12 hours
while linux is "suspended". I noticed there are 3 actions happening when
pressing suspend button now in familiar linux with 2.4.31 - cpu frequency
is scaled down to 59MHz from 206MHz, pcmcia slot cards are suspended, display is shut off.
As Windows can last weeks while suspended, there is something else needed
to conserve power. Does anybody has idea what suspend does in
Windows? How suspend is working on iPAQs?
