So, I got with help of others to boot up 2.6, but well not a big deal.
When using 2.6 from MG, Jornada hangs when loading Xwin. I used modules
that are in handhelds.org package, though they are not correct for this
kenrel, not a big surprise.

Using kernel image from handhelds.org packages I got stuck with
unable to mount rootfs. Their kernel is probably not suitable for using
initrd at all. How is that working even with flashboard I dono, because
kernel has not compiled in ext2, well they probably have jffs2.
The hh kernel boots nice - display contrast seems fine, looks like it
detects sound card.. that's all I see.
