Hi,
as we have Linux 2.6 booting on the Jornada 720 without flashboard now,
I'm going to build kernel-images of this version in the future.
But I will not use the handhelds.org-kernel, but the mainline 2.6 kernel
from kernel.org and will try to push all necessary patches to get a
working jornada to the linux-arm maintainers. This should (hopefully)
give us full support in the (unpatched!) main- line kernel.

I will also step up as the Jornada 720 maintainer in the mainline-
kernel, if nobody else here wants to do that job. This is necessary
as Russell King wants to drop support for it if no maintainer steps up:
http://article.gmane.org/gmane.comp.version-control.git/3754

Due to this, first working linux 2.6 kernels will take a few weeks.
Currently I have a "working" 2.6.12, with framebuffer, but no keyboard
or touchscreen-support.

Regards,
  Michael
