There is already an archive of this list available on gmane, although
its not in my opinion got the easiest to use interface. One downside I
do find with forums is that I don't tend to check them as often as I
read my mail and therefore I actually find myself contributing more to
mailing lists that i'm signed up to than to forums. A forum is fine for
just asking the odd question, but i've found mailing lists to be better
for actually getting things done. However the thing we need to be really
careful to avoid is having both, this just fragments the community and
makes it much harder for anyone to communicate.
