Re: [jornada] jornada and Xwindows

Hi, first I installed the debian woody base3_0-2.tgz which I found at
http://radiolivre.org/darksnow/jornada/
And then I updated using apt-get. I don't have a wlan or lan pcmcia
card yet, so I downloaded the first cd from debian for arm, put that
on my cf (I got rid of the big ones which I didn't need to save
space), and configured apt-get to get the packages locally. (set /etc/
apt/sources.list to something like "deb file:/root debs/" and then do
apt-get update).
But I didn't get xfree86 to work, so I gave up this road for now. I
installed familiar (GPE) and I'll try to find a way to expand with
debian packages, it seems that the "intimate" distribution project is
meant for that... but it seems also that it can only be installed
online...
Please let us know if you get to anything interesting!
Best regards,

matthis
