IIRC swap over nfs is not supported in Linux. There is a trick on
linux 2.6 where you first setup a loopback-device and swapon this,
but this does not work on 2.4 :-(
The only "solution" would be nbd, but I had more problems with that
than it solved. But mileage may vary.
nbd is available as a module in my compiled kernels.
