Michael,
I just tried your 2.4.30-vrs1-pxa1-j720-2 and I am quite impressed by it.
I installed it and its modules with the handhelds.org jornada 720 GPE
image and the CPU clocking changes seem to make a difference in my
battery life.
I did run into one problem, No NE2K driver for my PCMCIA card and no
hostap for my WIFI card :)
Where did you get the 2.4.30 sources that you patched? I only see up
to 2.4.19 on handhelds.org but perhaps I'm looking at the wrong ftp
site
ftp://ftp.handhelds.org/misc/linux/kernel/v2.4/
