[jornada] Jornada 720 information request

I recently acquired a Jornada 720 and am looking towards putting Linux on
it. The question is: do I have the right type? Inside, I found this little
board: http://shallax.com/board.jpg - this is almost identical to the board
pictured here: http://handhelds.org/~chicken/jornada_720/kscan_0025.jpeg
except that where the second board has Hyundai chips, mine has Samsung -
other than this, they appear to be identical.

Is this board flashable or are they just mask ROM chips? If it is indeed
flashable, how would one go about flashing it? Before I get any smart
comments - I have done extensive searching around for information and
haven't been able to find any answers.
