Bummer, Well my other PDA cant use 2.6 either due to binary only
drivers for 2.4 so I guess its not a huge letdown if it wont work on
the jornada.

With the 2.6 kernel from the gpe-image I dont get anything, just a freeze.

With the 2.4 kernels I've been finding I seem to run into troubles
mounting the filesystems and I'm thinking thats because the gpe-image
is expecting its 2.6 kernel and not the 2.4 I'm booting.

Maybe its something like with my Zaurus where the gpe-image is
softfloat based and the kernel isnt?

I'll log the next boot attempt and post it in a message.

I've found two boot loaders, linexec and hpcboot , Is one better than the other?

So the Jornada's CF slot is Type 2? I've seen mention of microdrives
being used in other devices via a PCMCIA to CF adapter but I want to
use my PCMCIA slot for connectivity.
