[jornada] Jornada 720 (linux 2.4, no flash board) status

Hi,

I have a J 720 w/out the flash board and I would like to know what is the
best linux I can have for it. As far as I understand the 2.6 kernel works
only for the J-s w/ the flash board.

For the 2.4 kernel, does the sound and irda work ?
Is there any power management at all ? (like on NetBSD where at least the
screen can be turned off, eg)
I used Rafael's nice help page (Thanks Rafael!) and run some of the
distributions mentioned. Is there a cure for the super bright screen ?
