Linexec for german users Re: [jornada] Linux on CF card (Jornada 720)

Hi all,

I'm looking at the file tester1.cpp of linexec source and i noticed that
linexec looks for one of those directories to locate the params.txt:

BOOL InitInstance(HINSTANCE hInstance, int nCmdShow)
{
(....)
 OpenCOM1();
 load_boot("\\My Documents\\params.txt");
 load_boot("\\Storage Card\\params.txt");
 load_boot("\\ÒÓØ ¶°ÄÞ\\params.txt");
(...)

Can someone compile linexec-j720.exe adding the line:

 load_boot("\\Speicherkarte\\params.txt");

for German compatibility?

Another issue that got my attention is the value of MEM_SIZE in config.h,
Jornada 710 and 720 has 32M, but Jornada 728 has 64M, and the file make no
distinction, assuming 32M.

The source for linexec I found at:
http://www.nyanyan.to/linux/linexec-xda-1.0-j720.tgz

Andreas, you can try placing the files in '\My Documents'.

ps: is possible to compile linexec using wine and a x86 toolchain from M$
site, according to the readme.

bye,
rafael diniz
