[jornada] Jornada 720 kernel (2.4 this time)

Hello,

Thanks for your help so far, here are some more questions related to the
Jornada 720.
I tried to build the kernel available at
(http://people.debian.org/~dexter/j720/kernel/) and many nice features
work (especially sound and the possibility to turn off the backlight).
I have the following problems (I know that this list might not be the
ideal place for these questions, but maybe someone here already had a
similar problem and can help me):
- I do not see a cursor on the framebuffer console, any idea how to
enable it?
- First, the keyboard did not seem to work at all, but then I remarked
that all keypresses had been kind of buffered and my commands were
executed when I opened /dev/touchscreen/0 for reading. This looks like a
locking problem, but I'm not a kernel programmer - any hints how to
solve this?
- Not really a problem, but rather a remark: the NetBSD framebuffer
driver has _much_ faster scrolling than the above mentioned kernel which
becomes extremely slow when I start changing VT's. Is there any updated
Version?
- Is there a place where I can find the 'perfect' 2.4 kernel for the
jornada 720 (if on handhelds.org, which release?)?
