If this is possible, this would be great! With 1 Gbyte CF cards easily
available, you can do a lot of things and also avoid having to modify the
hardware in any way.

I would have thought so - it's all about running Linux and other UNIX-like
operating systems on handhelds.

Is there? Does it involve changing the J720 ROM for a FLASHROM or can it
be run off the CF card?
